I thoroughly enjoyed the job and the role, I worked with great staff, and doctor's. I’ve develop great relationships with each individual differently but nonetheless respectful and supportive.
learning a lot and making mistakes that I’ve since learned from. However, working with one individual has been incredibly stressful and anxiety-inducing since my hire date. They’ve caused numerous setbacks instead of allowing me to learn and grow from them. What initially felt exciting and fulfilling about work gradually transformed into stress and anxiety. I struggled to sleep, felt mentally unsafe at work, and didn’t experience as many anxiety attacks throughout the day or weeks due to the lack of genuine support and compassion from upper management and HR. I’ve never felt so unwanted or valued in any of my previous jobs. I’ve been labeled as someone I never saw myself as and treated with a lack of empathy and respect. I was treated more like tolerated than genuinely cared for and valued for the good I’ve done and the kind of employee I know I am. Poor management lacks training in empathy and understanding, treating employees as robots rather than human beings.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There isn’t a best part the company is totally unorganized. They don’t have enough staff so you’re overworked and they don’t wanna pay you what you’re worth they don’t have good benefits. It’ll take you almost a couple of years to even get a weeks worth of PTO communication with management is almost obsolete

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not having the proper training, not having good communication between upper management, not having enough workers

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very unfriendly uncomfortable every office you work in is on a different page as far as company policy I feel the company is not transparent and honest about things when they are being questioned

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Coming into work and not knowing till you get there that you don’t have front desk staff so you’re having to run back office and front office by yourself doctor being way behind and patients basically coming in and having to reschedule their appointment because they have to wait for over an hour to see the doctor

You’re overworked, insultingly underpaid and unvalued. This company sees you as worker ants and that’s it. My personal manager was great given the limited control they actually had in most situation that matter. Regarding Coworkers its typical 50/50 like most jobs, however they allow someone who they considered an “asset” to do/act/say however they feel; even per policy immediate termination offenses towards coworkers and patients. unrealistic work load they put on one person due to the drastic short staffing. literally can not be done by one person but you HAVE to because there is literally no one else to do it but your paid insultingly as is much less everything else. The only positive and ONLY reason i stayed for multiple years is because the provider was the most amazing doctor I have ever worked for, literally! It was hard to leave simply because of him.

Do not work here if you cannot handle having to talk to people for 8 hours straight. Calls are back to back all day. You only get 1 ten minute break and a 30 min lunch but most times you’re told to skip breaks because of how busy it is. You can work your butt off for this company & they will still micromanage you, constantly listen to your calls & point out the smallest things for you to “work on” because they expect absolute perfection- & all for minimum wage. They also need to know what you’re doing at all times or they’ll call you out on teams in front of everyone. On top of allll that, most of the calls are from upset patients who will degrade you & call you out your name. If you value your mental health & self worth, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I have a lot of experience working remotely in healthcare and this was by far the worst job experience I’ve ever had. 

Working with this company that has no involvement in its clinics is stressful especially when they are not ran properly. There is never proper management nor supervision on the employees. Staff tends to slack off and not focus on their responsibilities which makes the patient not get the proper care. Team work in non-existent in the office and there definitely no structure. There is no proper training an no one takes responsibility for their errors. Hard work is never acknowledged and there is favoritism in the office for employees who do not apply themselves to their job. Employees seem to think they can decide what part of their responsibilities they are to do and not what they are required to do.

Probably the worst company to work for you can’t use your PTO for vacations because they want you to use it for doctors appointments all the offices are always short staffed the management is horrible and completely disrespectful. The higher ups pick favorites with the all the offices so if your not one of those when your main office needs help they won’t send it. The company it self fells like it’s ran by a bunch of high school kids because of all the drama and the talking behind peoples back. Most of the doctors are nice and amazing to work for and others are not. The pay is Terrible when it comes to all the work they wanna load on top of you. They try to offer incentives or bonuses but the goals are impossible to reach.I would never work for this company again 

Don't be fooled by the connivence of working from home. You will be swarmed with back-to-back calls. No time to even cough due to the system. The task itself is pretty easy. The only thing that isn't great is when you need help, you have to "communicate" in a group chat. Which doesn't sound bad until nobody answers you or they ignore your question. That's also including managers and supervisors. Also, be careful how often you are unavailable. Whether you're answering your door, running to the bathroom, or getting some water you are being clocked. The only thing I enjoyed was not having to waste gas, but it definitely was not fulfilling. On top of that, it's not with what you are paid. This company allows patients to cuss you out and be extremely disrespectful. No matter what you say or do, you are always wrong in the eyes of Upperline.

The podiatrist was extremely kind and well liked by patients.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Absolutely terrible management.  Short staffed and unable to keep any new hires as a result . 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The offices and fellow staff were all nice . 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work hours were basically 8am -5pm however the amount of patients expected to be seen were so many that each day the patients were often there past the time for employees to leave on time . Then the company frowned upon an overtime hours at all .

The patients and the podiatrists

Co workers will throw you under the bus to get ahead in the job

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Chaos and drama from management every day but patient care is the best part.  Prepare rooms for the day.  Patient care consists of vitals, history, shoe measures, nail trims, finish charts, clean and stock rooms, make orders and phone calls to patients, providers, referrals, upperline plus all day long.

As a start-up, the workload varies greatly but tasks are clearly defined.  Multiple systems are in use daily, so you have to be able to multitask and be flexible.  At times, it can feel like you're being micromanaged, but the intent is to provide quality care for the patients.  Great colleagues who are supportive and want to share their knowledge makes the day fly by.  Overall, great place to work if you thrive on helping others and want to make a difference in the healthcare industry.
