Absolutely love the “family feel” I had with the Managers and Employees. All the Doctors were great to work for & very friendly. 

Other than that - pay was a joke for the amount of work you do. It always seems like you’re just expected to give - give - give and it just be okay with it (even if it’s something you aren’t qualified for or hired to do) Volunteering to help out when needed gets you absolutely nowhere; other than being taking advantage of constantly. They seem to stay short-staffed and indifferent to the amount of stress that causes on the decent & hardworking employees that stay. It really just comes across as they only care about the bottom dollar in all aspects to be totally honest.

The work culture and your coworkers. It's truly like a big family.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Mondays and Before and after holidays. We are in healthcare so that just comes with the job.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's Great! The doctor's and everyone there care about patients and staff. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I work in Billing so it varies. But mainly answering calls from front office staff and patients, verifying insurance, and working claim denials.

Absolutely loved working here at first! Very fast paced, but very enjoyable! Doctors are amazing and very approachable. Staff becomes like family. However; management is very unprofessional and they do not listen to your concerns. Unwilling to help when drowning. Way overworked and underpaid. It's sad really that it's such a toxic work environment. Especially when you have high quality employees who go above and beyond and love the patients. Overall a good place to work but management needs improvement for employee retention. 

The job started off great, but one bad apple ruins the whole bunch and unfortunately that is happening. Every single person who has resigned at the site I worked at has been talked about terribly. There is constant drama that is never addressed. The work environment is very cliquey. Leaving there was the best decision I made, no one should dread going into work every single day because of how poorly they’re treated/talked about and the constant drama/gossip. 

Management is terrible, unless your in their group of drama and mouth runners. schedules do not come out on time, issues go unresolved, you do the work of at least 3 people with no compensation for it. Insurance is horrible. The only good thing about this job is the co-workers which they can not keep due to low pay and empty promises. 

I worked for Watauga Ortho for a time and I loved it!!  The staff, the providers and management were all AWESOME!!  I felt a sense of accomplishment and recognition from the providers and admin!!  The only reason I left was for an opportunity making more money

great employees but no one stays because of poor pay. its a revolving door. 
a lot of great providers work for Watauga. flexibility if you need to take some tie off for appointments or something personal 

Short staffed. Insurance knowledge. Management is a joke. Culture with coworkers is good. Expected to do several jobs with no pay advances. Good staff.

Great place to work. The owners are really good people. The benefits were quite good, especially the 401k and profit sharing were really good. The company also has reasonable hours and good time off.

Good working environment with coworkers but no place to grow if you have opinions. Great physicians to work with and the benefits and PTO are good but the pay is not equivalent for the work that is assigned.
