Full Job Description

HL URIMAN is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our team as a SCM Specialist. This role is vital to our factory's operational success, overseeing inventory integrity, facility maintenance, and supporting our ongoing digital modernization initiatives.

Job Summary

The SCM Specialist ensures the seamless flow of production and logistics. This position is responsible for accurate inventory control, facility maintenance support, and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Execute cycle counts, reconcile variances, manage obsolete inventory (FIFO), and handle purchasing of consumable materials.
Packaging & Yard Coordination: Oversee pallet/dunnage inventory, coordinate trailer swaps, and monitor trailer dwell counts for customer reporting.
Facility & Safety: Inspect dock equipment, maintain safety documentation (fire extinguishers/eye wash stations), and manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for compressors and AWA machines.
Reporting & Improvement: Analyze data for customer portals, participate in continuous improvement (Lean) initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned to ensure business continuity.

Requirements

1+ year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or inventory control (preferred).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis).
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of ERP or inventory management systems.
Ability to lift/move materials as needed for inventory tasks

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or higher (Bachelor’s Preferred)
Materials management experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
Proficiency in MS office with intermediate to advanced Excel
Strong math aptitude to calculate production output and outbound cargo
Knowledge and experience of MES or WMS preferred.
Effective interpersonal skills with management team, employees and business partners in a competent, productive manner.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to work on feet or sit for long hours
Bilingual Korean/English a plus.

Hours of operation:

3:30 p.m. - 00:00 a.m. / MON-FRI

Candidates must be able to work during the hours specified above without any adjustments based on personal requests or needs.
