Full Job Description

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where your skills will be valued and developed. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about providing excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role as a Front Office Specialist. At Diagnostic Pain Center, alongside a team, you will provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the clinic. In addition, you will support doctors, APPs, and patients through various tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The goal is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality, and on time. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where your skills will be valued and developed.

This position requires flexibility to work between our North and South clinic locations based on operational needs.

Job responsibilities and duties:

Provide front office support across both North and South office locations
Checking patients in and out
Greets, welcomes and directs incoming patients and visitors to the proper areas
Verifying insurance and benefit information
Answers the phones professionally and politely, using proper phone etiquette
Scheduling patient appointments
Pain Management experience helpful but not required
Money handling and batching
Practices teamwork by helping others willingly and communication in professional manner
Fax processing
Medical Records
Adheres to DPC policies and procedures

Skills

Bilingual in English and Spanish Required
Proven working experience in the medical field
Accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Social perceptiveness and service-oriented
Punctual and self-disciplined
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in MS Office and experience in Electronic Health Record software

Note: Schedule will vary between our North and South locations; candidates must be comfortable working at both sites on a regular basis

Salary Commensurate with Experience.
