Full Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Head of Service to lead the clinical and case management functions at our STRTP facility for adolescent girls. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care and compliance with state regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field (required)
Active registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) – must provide a current BBS registration number
At least 1 year of case management experience working with children in a residential treatment setting, child welfare, or youth-focused mental health environmentNote: Experience working solely with adults does not meet this requirement
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid California Driver’s License
Ability to pass a background check and physical examination

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all clinical and case management services
Ensure treatment planning is trauma-informed, individualized, and aligned with licensing requirements
Collaborate closely with therapists, direct care staff, families, and community partners
Monitor and support staff in implementing effective behavioral interventions and crisis response
Participate in audits, staff training, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Uphold all STRTP compliance and documentation standards
