Job Summary
Join our dental team as a Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! In this energetic role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for, while ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow professionally while making a positive impact on patients’ lives.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health
Review patient medical records and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments
Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft for documentation review and medical coding
Conduct patient assessments to identify potential issues requiring further evaluation by the dentist
Support the dental team with administrative tasks related to dental records management and documentation review

Experience

Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office or clinic setting
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques
Familiarity with EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred
Experience in pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric patients is a plus
Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance
