Full Job Description

Private owner of multiple companies is seeking a talented financial bookeeper to work across the portfolio of businesses. The candidate will oversee and manage Accounting, Bookkeeping, AP, AR, as well as H.R. and regulatory issues across the portfolio of companies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of a similar background with expert level knowledge in Accounting, QBO

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll through paychex and financial reporting through QBO.
Assist with developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting, ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Manage cash flow and treasury functions.
Respobnsible for bi-weekly payroll processing through Paychex Flex.
Coordinate, prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages including analyzing financial results with respect to profits, trends, and costs.
Coordinate and/or prepare tax schedules, returns and information.
Manage all required federal, state, local, payroll, sales and use, and other applicable taxes.
Develop and document policies and procedures for key accounting, tax and other matters.
Other duties as assigned
Human Resource experience is preferred with experience and knowledge in the following areas; Insurance, Benefits, Workers Compensation and Liability Insurance.

Requirements:

5 + years of experience

Accounting/ Finance Degree

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity for growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
