Digital Marketing Specialist- NOT REMOTE
Location: On-site in Bradenton, FL Job Type: Full-time.
We are looking for a creative, hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist to own our paid advertising end to end. This is a pay-per-click role first and foremost: you will create the ads, place them, manage the advertising budget behind them, and analyze what that spend returns. You will be accountable for a significant annual ad budget across a broad and diverse spectrum of media, and for the judgment calls that decide where it goes.
This role suits an idea person who also understands the machinery behind the ideas — including how to put today's AI tools to work. You will conceive and build the ads themselves — copy, images, short-form video, hooks, and offers — then launch them, manage bids and budget pacing, and read the performance data closely enough to know what to change next. You will also help grow our organic search and social presence, but this is not primarily a social-media or content role. Paid performance is how the position will be measured.
Core Responsibilities: Pay-Per-Click and Campaign Execution
- Concept, write, and produce the ad creative — headlines, copy, calls to action, static graphics, carousels, and short-form video — and bring new campaign ideas to leadership with a clear rationale.
- Build and launch campaigns in social media, direct mail, video, as well as event and email marketing, spanning search, display, automated performance campaigns, and video placements.
- Own the advertising budget: allocate spend across platforms, campaigns, and audiences, pace it against monthly and annual targets, and flag variances early.
- Manage day-to-day performance — bid strategies, audiences, retargeting, placements, frequency, and creative rotation — and catch waste, audience overlap, and creative fatigue before month-end.
- Run structured A/B tests across creative, copy, offers, audiences, and landing pages, and document what each test taught us.
- Shape landing pages, lead forms, and conversion paths so ad clicks turn into qualified leads.
- Report on spend, CPC, click-through rate, cost per lead, conversion rate, and return on ad spend, with clear recommendations for where budget should go next.
- Maintain the tracking that makes those numbers trustworthy: platform pixels and server-side conversion APIs, in-platform conversion tracking, web analytics, and consistent UTM tagging.
Core Responsibilities: AI Tools and Workflow
- Use AI tools fluently in day-to-day work — creative concepting and variation, copywriting drafts, image and video production, audience and keyword research, data summarization, and reporting.
- Integrate AI into our marketing workflow in practical, repeatable ways: build prompts, templates, and lightweight automations that shorten production cycles without lowering quality.
- Evaluate and recommend new AI platforms and features as they emerge, with a clear-eyed view of what actually improves output versus what is noise.
- Apply sound judgment and brand standards to AI-assisted work — fact-check claims, protect confidential and client information, respect platform and industry advertising rules, and keep a human review step on anything that goes public.
Supporting Responsibilities: Organic Search, Content, and Social
- Create and repurpose content for web pages, blogs, email, and social media, extending the themes that prove out in paid campaigns.
- Manage social media for all relevant channels, including organic content and a working content calendar across a broad and diverse spectrum of media.
- Optimize content for SEO and apply AEO and GEO principles to improve visibility in answer engines and AI-powered search.
- Monitor comments and messages, escalate reputation concerns, and keep our brand presence consistent across all platforms and business listing profiles.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of direct, hands-on ownership of pay-per-click advertising — you have personally built, launched, managed, and optimized live PPC campaigns, this is a firm requirement.
- Demonstrated experience personally managing a six-figure annual advertising budget, including allocating spend, pacing it through the year, and accounting for the results it produced.
- Hands-on campaign-management experience in multi-modal digital media, including paid search and paid social at scale.
- A solid working understanding of AI systems and how to use and integrate them — practical, demonstrated use of AI tools for creative production, research, analysis, and workflow automation, and the judgment to know where AI belongs in a process and where it does not.
- Experience creating the ad creative itself — writing the copy and producing or directing the visuals and video that run with it, using current design, video, and AI-assisted production tools.
- Fluency with performance data: comfortable pulling numbers from ad platform dashboards and web analytics and turning them into a spending decision.
- Working knowledge of audience targeting, retargeting, bid strategies, conversion tracking, and A/B testing methodology.
- A portfolio of ads you made, the budget behind them, the results they produced, and your read on why they worked.
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, content planning, and organic social media.
- Ability to manage deadlines, collaborate closely with leadership, and work on-site.
Please note: hands-on PPC campaign and budget management is the central requirement of this role. Applications limited to organic social media, content, or SEO experience will not move forward.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience running lead-generation campaigns for professional, legal, financial, insurance, healthcare, or other trust-based services.
- Experience with server-side tracking, conversion APIs, or offline conversion imports.
- Experience building AI-assisted workflows or automations that measurably shortened production time or improved campaign results.
- Experience with landing-page builders and conversion-rate optimization testing.
- Experience with local SEO, business listing optimization, email marketing, direct mail, event marketing, or CRM platforms.
- Experience producing short-form video, reels, testimonials, or educational content.
