Full Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting operations across approximately 25 affiliated LLCs. This role requires strong experience in multi-entity bookkeeping, intercompany accounting, and full-cycle accounting processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities simultaneously. This is an in office position. No remote work.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Journal Entries

Prepare and post journal entries for all entities and understand their impact on financial statements
Maintain accurate and organized general ledgers

Intercompany Accounting

Record and track intercompany transactions across all LLCs
Reconcile intercompany balances on a regular basis
Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all intercompany activity

Accounts Payable (AP)

Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding by entity
Manage payment schedules and maintain vendor relationships
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Bank & Account Reconciliations

Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly

Qualifications

3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Strong experience managing multiple entities (10+)

Proven experience with

Journal Entries & General Ledger
Intercompany accounting
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, AppFolio, or similar platforms)
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize across multiple entities
Excellent organizational and time management skills

Preferred Experience

Experience in real estate, property management, or investment funds
Familiarity with entity structuring and related-party transactions

What Success Looks Like in This Role

All entities are reconciled monthly and up to date
Intercompany accounts are clean and balanced
Minimal errors and strong documentation across all transactions

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
