Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking skilled Texas & New Mexico Licensed (or a reciprocal state) Journeyman Electrician(s) to join our Willow creek Electric team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in industrial oil & gas electrical work. This role involves working on green field and brown field construction sites and requires proficiency in both electrical and instrumentation wiring methods. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with NFPA, NEC, Client specifications and local regulations. The role will include competitive experience-based wages, overtime, with an average work week of six (6) days per week 10-hour days including per diem base on assigned location and eligible for company benefits.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Work collaboratively on construction sites to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problematic.
Support the installation of electrical and instrumentation wiring methods per NEC code daily.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all tools and materials are properly stored after use.

Experience

Proof of active Texas (or reciprocal state) Journeyman’s card is required.
Familiarity with new installations of industrial electrical systems is essential; experience with low voltage systems is a plus.
Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
Proficient in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment effectively.
Previous experience working on construction sites is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
