Looking for a quick learner with a positive attitude to join our team.

Significant opportunities to cross train as a pump mechanic.

These are some of the things you will do in this job:

Work as a manual machinist NOT CNC - we rarely make 2 of anything.
Run manual lathe, Bridgeport, etc..
Learn pump system construction, operation, and repair.
Fabricate new parts from cast iron, steel, bronze, and stainless steel raw stock.
Read mechanical drawings and technical publications.
Help maintain a clean and well organized shop.
Work in a safe manner to maintain our excellent safety record.

These are the basic skills and requirements you should have:

High School diploma or equivalent – technical training a plus
At least 3 years experience in manual machining.
Up to 75lbs of lifting required.
You should have your own basic measuring tools - we'll supply the rest.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Forklift and crane operational experience a plus
Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently.
"Plays well with others", good attitude, and a team player.
