Accounting & HR Coordinator (Part-Time) - Grow Your Career with a Local Company That Puts People First

Seattle, WA Area
$28-$30/hour | 20+ Hours per Week | Opportunity to Grow into Full-Time

We're partnering with Cardinal Heating & Air, an independently owned residential HVAC company that recently returned to local ownership after years under private equity management.

Today, Cardinal operates approximately 10 service technicians and is actively growing. Their leadership team is focused on building a company where employees aren't treated like numbers, quality comes before volume, and culture matters as much as performance.

As the business continues to grow, they're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Accounting & HR Coordinator to support both the financial and people side of the business. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with accounting experience who also enjoys HR administration and wants to grow into a larger role over time.

What You'll Do

Accounting

Review and export daily invoices and payments into QuickBooks Online
Coordinate and assist with month-end close
Review and reconcile customer aging reports and accounts receivable
Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Reconcile ServiceTitan deposits with QuickBooks Online
Process vendor payments and customer refunds
Submit and track vendor rebate programs
Maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting operations

Human Resources

Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding
Assist with benefits administration
Help maintain employee records and HR documentation
Support general HR administrative functions

What We're Looking For

Accounting, Finance, or Business background (degree or relevant experience)
Experience with Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable
Experience with QuickBooks Online is strongly preferred
Previous HR administration or benefits experience is a plus
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
Professional, dependable, and proactive
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Eager to grow with a rapidly expanding company

Compensation & Benefits

$28-$30 per hour
20+ hours per week (part-time)
