Full Job Description

Overview
Applicant must have ARRT certification and licensed in operating X-Ray machine. Join our dynamic healthcare team as an X-Ray Technician, a vital role dedicated to delivering precise diagnostic imaging to support patient care. In this position, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality X-ray images, assist in diagnostic evaluations, and collaborate closely with medical professionals across various departments. Your expertise will help facilitate accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities

Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Operate X-ray machines
Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and maintain strict safety protocols during all procedures.
Accurately position patients to obtain optimal images of anatomy and physiology for diagnostic evaluation.
Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to interpret imaging results and assist in urgent care settings.
Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and imaging data following medical terminology standards.
Conduct routine quality checks on imaging equipment and troubleshoot technical issues promptly to ensure continuous operation.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating diagnostic radiology equipment including X-ray
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and radiation safety standards is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in urgent care environments and handle high-pressure situations confidently.
Certification as a radiologic technologist (ARRT or equivalent) required
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients of diverse backgrounds.
