Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to join us. Your enthusiasm for numbers and strong organizational skills will help maintain the integrity of our financial data, enabling informed decision-making and smooth operational workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your accounting expertise within a collaborative environment committed to excellence.

Duties

Manage data entry tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, or other financial software platforms.
Proven experience with bookkeeping or accounting support roles; familiarity with public accounting or non-profit accounting is a plus.
Strong knowledge of accounting concepts such as debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, and financial report writing.
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, or similar platforms.
Basic technical skills such as 10 key typing and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and support internal audits or external reviews.
Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
