5 Star Automotive is a growing collision repair center looking for an experienced, hands-on Collision Repair Technician to join our team.
We are looking for someone who truly understands the collision repair industry from the inside out.
This is more than a position for someone who can simply repair dents. We are looking for a well-rounded technician who can look at a damaged vehicle, understand what needs to be done, solve problems, and help move the repair from damage assessment through completion.
You will work closely with our shop manager and repair team. The right person will be someone who can take initiative, think independently, and say, "Let's figure out how to fix it."
What You'll Do
Depending on your experience and skill level, responsibilities may include:
Body Repair & Collision Work

Problem Solving Is Extremely Important
At 5 Star Automotive, we are looking for someone who can think beyond the obvious repair.
Sometimes a vehicle does not go exactly according to the estimate or the repair plan.
We need someone who can:
- Look at a problem and determine what is causing it.
- Identify additional damage.
- Think through different repair options.
- Communicate problems to the manager.
- Help determine the best way to complete a repair.
- Troubleshoot issues instead of simply stopping when something doesn't go as planned.
