Registered Nurse – CVICU – Columbus, OH

Shift: Night (3x12-Hour shifts, 19:00 – 07:30)
Hours per Week: 36 hours/week
Employment Type: Travel/Temporary
Certification/Licenses: Ohio RN License, BLS, ACLS required
Experience: 2+ years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred

Pay & Benefits

Pay package: $59.18/hour
Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws
Medical benefits (W-2)
Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit
Referral bonus program
Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable

What You’ll Do

Provide high-quality care for critical cardiac patients in the CVICU
Monitor patient vital signs and manage complex cardiac equipment (telemetry, vents, Swan-Ganz, balloon pumps, PA lines)
Administer medications and sedation, including conscious sedation
Respond to patient emergencies promptly and effectively
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC electronic health record system
Float within similar acuity units as needed

What You Need
Required:

Ohio RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience with IV starts, telemetry, vents, Swan-Ganz, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, PA lines
EPIC electronic health record experience
At least 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience

Preferred:

Previous travel ICU experience
