Full Job Description

Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee our extended stay hotel operations for hotel locations on the East Coast.

As a Regional Director of Operations, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of District Manager professionals, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, strategic planning, and business development. This position requires 75% plus overnight travel and remote work.

Duties:

Provide leadership and guidance to district managers and hotel teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve targets
Manage and optimize regional operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Lead the development and execution of business development initiatives to expand market presence
Oversee the implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track regional performance and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute regional strategies
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, ownership groups, partners, and regulatory bodies
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as a Regional Director of Operations or similar position within the extended stay segment
Strong background in operations management, including experience in managing multiple locations or regions
Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving goals
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective business strategies
Experience in business development, including identifying new opportunities and driving revenue growth
Proficient in project management methodologies, with the ability to oversee complex projects from initiation to completion
Track record of successfully implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Valid Drivers License
