Full Job Description

Join the team at Twisted Pye, one of Douglasville's fastest-growing fast-casual restaurants!

We're passionate about serving exceptional food, creating memorable guest experiences, and building a kitchen team that takes pride in every plate. As a scratch kitchen, we prepare many of our sauces, doughs, and menu items in-house, so attention to detail and consistency are critical.

We are looking for a Line Cook / Prep Cook who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes direction well, and treats the kitchen with the same care and pride as if it were their own.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items on the sauté, fry, and pizza stations
Prepare scratch-made recipes including dough, sauces, wings, proteins, vegetables, and other ingredients
Receive, organize, and properly store truck deliveries
Follow FIFO procedures and proper food storage standards
Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization throughout every shift
Wash dishes and assist wherever needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly
Follow recipes, portion standards, and plating specifications
Help complete opening, closing, and prep checklists
Communicate effectively with the Executive Chef and kitchen Leads / Team
Work efficiently during high-volume lunch, dinner, and weekend service
Maintain all health department and food safety standards

Qualifications

Minimum 1 years of line cook experience preferred
Scratch kitchen experience strongly preferred
Pizza experience is a plus but not required
Ability to multitask in a high-volume kitchen
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Compensation & Growth

$10–14 per hour based on experience
Part-time (15–20 hours per week) with opportunities for additional hours
