About the Role:

The Rudy’s Prime Steakhouse General Manager is responsible for the overall operations of our restaurant including guest satisfaction, team development, financial performance, and brand integrity. The ideal candidate is a hospitality-driven leader with a deep understanding of fine dining culture, a strong business acumen, and a commitment to creating unforgettable guest experiences.

What you’ll do:

Oversee daily operations, ensuring excellent service, team performance, and guest satisfaction.
Hire, train, and lead staff while fostering a positive, growth-oriented work environment.
Maintain high standards in food, service, and hospitality through hands-on supervision and mentoring.
Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability.
Support marketing efforts, programming, and guest engagement strategies to drive traffic and retention.
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth front and back-of-house coordination.
Uphold health, safety, and regulatory compliance at all times.
Build strong community relationships and a loyal base of regular guests.

Requirements:

What You’ll Bring:

Love for Hospitality: A deep enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering extraordinary service. High-level “Hospitality Quotient” coupled with a Fanatic attention to detail
Exceptional Communication: Whether with guests, team members, or senior leadership, you’re skilled at keeping everyone in sync.
Inspiring Leadership & People Developer: You know how to motivate, mentor, and cultivate high-performing teams. Positive, team-oriented attitude & culture driver.
Financial Savvy: A solid understanding of budgets, cost control, and financial statements.
Language Proficiency: English fluency required; Spanish fluency is a plus!
Experience: At least three years of progressive General Management experience in the restaurant industry, with a preference for boutique or upscale dining establishments.
Encyclopedia: Superior wine knowledge encompassing Old-World, New-World and Global insights. Wide knowledge of spirits, especially bourbon, whiskey, rye & tequila

Lifting: Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Vision: Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: Noise level is usually moderate.
