Full Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Performs functions necessary to operate the continuous enamel oven(s), within the green zone of quality
specs. Supervisors must approve anything outside the green zone. Individual will handle several
functions in the manufacturing process of producing aluminum and copper magnet wire.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for operating the enamel oven, support equipment, preparing necessary paperwork for

shipment and maintaining required supplies

Responsible for proper oven set up and using the changeover/setup list, for supervisor approval
Responsible for checking the Quench water level and keeping it clean
Responsible for operation of the wire draw machines
Responsible for all functions necessary to ensure proper alignment of wire throughout the process
Responsible for completing basket welds, entering into computer, and documenting basket weld

breaks

Responsible for performing all team operations including but not limited to start up, verifying lube,

troubleshooting for bead and undersize wire, bare wire diameter and sponge changes

Responsible for Housekeeping
Routinely operates powered industrial equipment including various forklifts and cranes
Identifies problems in production process and completes corrective action
Completes forms and paperwork
Other duties as assigned
