Business Development Manager | Professional Search Group

Professional Search Group has partnered with a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) in the IT industry to recruit a results-oriented Business Development Manager. This position will focus on driving revenue growth, executing strategic sales initiatives, and developing strong client relationships that support the company’s continued success.

Position Overview

The Business Development Manager will identify new business opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have substantial IT sales experience within the MSP sector and a proven ability to understand clients’ needs and deliver tailored technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships by understanding business and IT requirements and recommending customized solutions.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to inform effective sales strategies.
Manage the full sales pipeline, including opportunity tracking, forecasting, and performance reporting.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with organizational growth objectives.
Collaborate with operations, technical, and service-delivery teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Represent Professional Search Group’s client with professionalism and a consultative, solutions-focused approach throughout the sales process.

Qualifications

Five or more years of IT sales experience, preferably within the Managed Services Provider industry.
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue and business-development targets.
Strong knowledge of managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and related technologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field preferred.
