Lead a Hotel Where Great Guest Experiences Start with Great Leadership

La Quinta Inn & Suites in New Cumberland, PA is seeking an experienced, results-driven Hotel General Manager to lead daily operations, inspire a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a hands-on leadership role and is passionate about driving guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

Direct all day-to-day hotel operations, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Guest Services.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop hotel team members.
Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and guest satisfaction.
Monitor guest reviews and respond promptly to guest concerns to maintain high service standards.
Achieve revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and profitability goals.
Prepare and manage budgets, payroll, purchasing, and expense controls.
Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
Oversee preventative maintenance and property appearance.
Maintain excellent quality assurance and inspection scores.
Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations to increase hotel revenue.
Analyze hotel performance reports and implement action plans to improve results.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of hotel management experience, preferably as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Operations Manager.
Experience with select-service or limited-service hotels preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
Proven experience managing budgets, labor costs, and hotel financial performance.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS).
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as business demands require.
High school diploma required; hospitality degree preferred.
