Beable is currently seeking a high-performing Director of Sales with demonstrated success in the K-12 edtech market and a passion for transforming student outcomes and lifelong success! As Director of Sales, you will use your education sales expertise and networks to expand Beable’s footprint in California.

Primary responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales goals.
Identify, prospect, and cultivate new district and school opportunities through networking, referrals, and outbound outreach.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across K-12 school districts and educational organizations.
Effectively communicate Beable's value proposition, product features, and student impact through virtual and in-person presentations and demonstrations.
Prepare and deliver compelling, consultative sales presentations tailored to prospective customer needs.
Accurately assess customer challenges and recommend solutions that drive improved student outcomes.
Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and territory objectives.
Stay informed on K-12 education trends, funding opportunities, competitive offerings, and market developments.
Deliver exceptional customer experiences throughout the sales cycle and support long-term customer success.
Maintain deep knowledge of Beable's products, services, and implementation models.
Accurately document sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the CRM system.
Manage territory travel and expenses responsibly and within budget.

Job requirements and qualifications

BA/BS degree required.
3+ years of successful K-12 education sales experience, preferably selling literacy related education technology solutions.
Classroom experience or a related educational field strongly preferred.
Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive, consultative sales environment.
Strong business acumen with the ability to effectively manage territory performance and contribute to revenue growth and profitability.
Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills with ability to influence decision-makers and navigate complex sales cycles.
Prove ability to prioritize and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage pipelines, track customer interactions, forecast sales activity, and maintain accurate records.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory as needed.
