Full Job Description

Commercial Concepts & Furnishings has been serving the Kansas City area since 1988, providing quality commercial furniture solutions for businesses, schools, healthcare facilities, and government organizations. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as our Accounting & Office Administrator.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys bookkeeping, organization, and helping keep daily business operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process customer invoices and vendor bills
Receive and apply customer payments
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
Assist with month-end accounting tasks
Prepare reports and maintain organized financial records
Answer phones and assist customers as needed
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
Perform general office and administrative duties to support the team

Qualifications

Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required
Experience with QuickBooks required
Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Strong communication and customer service skills
Experience in the commercial furniture, construction, or office products industry is a plus
