Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Doggie Daycare Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, particularly dogs, and enjoy providing exceptional care in a daycare setting.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime and intervene when necessary ensuring their safety and well-being.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the daycare area, including regular cleaning of kennels, play areas, and equipment.
Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
Assist with feeding, administering medications, and providing basic care including bathing as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their dog's day.
Handle heavy lifting when moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs.
Clearly communicating with co-workers regarding dogs.

Experience

Previous experience in dog handling or animal care is a necessity.
Background as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant is a plus.
Familiarity with kennel operations is beneficial.
Experience in pet sitting or working with animals in a professional setting is highly regarded.
