Job Overview

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Restaurant Executive Sous Chef to lead our culinary team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Your leadership will help create a welcoming environment where guests enjoy outstanding dining experiences. The ideal candidate is experienced in fine dining, team management, and food safety procedures, with a strong background in culinary arts and restaurant management. This individual will report directly to the Executive Chef.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
Lead menu planning and oversee food production to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.
Manage inventory control and food handling processes to minimize waste and optimize costs.
Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to foster teamwork and maintain high performance levels.
Implement food safety sanitizing procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods and special events such as banquets or catering functions.
Oversee shift management, ensuring proper staffing levels and efficient workflow throughout each shift.

Skills

Extensive experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in culinary arts and kitchen management.
Proven supervisory experience leading culinary teams in high-volume settings.
Knowledge of dietary department standards, food safety practices, and sanitizing procedures.
Skilled in menu planning, food production, catering, and inventory management.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate teams effectively.
Experience managing costs, controlling budgets, and optimizing food industry operations.
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and delivering exceptional guest service.
