What Aletheia Is
Aletheia Integrative Medical exists outside the insurance system. This role is where clinical skill meets real relationship — patients get your full attention, not five rushed minutes between charts.
What This Role Actually Is
You're a clinical anchor for our patients — the nurse who's with them during treatment and the nurse who makes sure their care plan actually moves forward between visits. This role blends hands-on infusion work with day-to-day patient care, and it won't look like a typical nursing job on either front. We'll teach you our protocols, our systems, and our standards. What we can't teach is how you're wired.
Infusion & IV Therapy
You administer IV nutrient therapy, hydration, and other infusion-based treatments under provider orders — starting lines, monitoring patients throughout treatment, and watching for anything that needs a provider's attention. Patients are often here for an hour or more, and you're the steady presence in the room the whole time. That means real conversation, real reassurance, and real clinical judgment — not just watching a drip.
You track supplies, keep protocols tight, and make sure every infusion is administered safely and precisely, every time. This is not task completion. This is ownership of a patient's experience during one of the more vulnerable parts of their care.
Patient Care & Clinical Support
Alongside infusion work, you're part of the clinical team that keeps patient care moving — rooming patients, taking vitals, prepping charts, drawing labs, reinforcing provider instructions, and following up so care plans don't stall between visits. You document cleanly in our EHR so nothing gets lost in the handoff between you, the providers, and the rest of the clinical team.
You catch what needs catching — a patient who's confused about next steps, a result that needs a second look, a follow-up that's about to slip. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
Who You Are
We're not looking for someone who's already done this exact job — this role probably doesn't exist anywhere else. What we're looking for is the kind of person who can do it.
What you need to have:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Nebraska
- Experience with IV starts and infusion administration (or a fast learner with strong foundational nursing skills and a willingness to be trained)

- Calm, steady presence. Patients are often anxious or vulnerable during treatment. You bring a settling energy, not a rushed one.
- Efficiency — almost ruthlessly so. You find the fastest path to done without cutting corners on quality or safety.
- You learn fast. Hand you a new protocol, a new software platform, a new workflow — and you don't panic. You dig in, figure it out, and start improving it.
- You're innovative. When you see a process that's slow, clunky, or outdated, you don't just tolerate it — you fix it. You're excited about AI and emerging tools. You're already using them or you want to be.
- You're a natural communicator. Clear, warm, and trustworthy. When you explain something, people feel heard. They lean in. They trust you.
- You move with speed and make decisions with confidence. You don't stall waiting for permission. You assess, decide, act — and if you get it wrong, you own it, adjust, and keep moving.
- Extreme ownership. You hold yourself to a high standard for the quality of your work and the reliability of your word. You don't need someone managing you. You police yourself.
- You care about results — not just activity. Did the patient feel cared for? Did the infusion go smoothly? Did the follow-up actually happen? You care about the outcome, not just the task.
- You understand — or are deeply curious about — integrative, functional, and holistic medicine. You don't need to be an expert. You need to believe healthcare can be more.
A Word of Honesty
This role asks for real clinical competence and real bedside presence, at the same time, for hours at a stretch. You'll be starting lines and monitoring patients one moment, then rooming the next patient or chasing down a follow-up the next. There's no autopilot mode — every patient in front of you needs your full attention, not a rushed version of it.

Compensation
$30–$40/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures; monitor and record vital signs; provide wound care, injections, infusions and other prescribed interventions.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on treatment plans, medication usage, and preventive care; respond to patient questions and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Medical Record Management: Accurately document patient care, histories, and interventions in electronic medical records (EMR) in accordance with office protocols.
- Administrative Support: Schedule appointments, handle patient intake, and manage phone inquiries; assist in maintaining a smooth patient flow within the office.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and restock medical supplies, ensuring all equipment is clean, functional, and readily available.
- Compliance: Follow all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, as well as medical office policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Active CMA or Med-Aid certified in Nebraska.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.
