Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert knowledge of our menu and beverage offerings, and a warm, welcoming attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable dining moments, ensuring guests feel valued and satisfied from start to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food industry expertise, sales skills, and passion for hospitality in a lively environment that celebrates culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and bartender.
Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items like cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance the dining experience
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Handle sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and processing credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and bussing duties
Assist with food preparation, table clearing, bussing, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain smooth operations
Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously

Skills

Experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferred
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Knowledge of alcohol service including cocktail preparation, spirits experience, wine knowledge, and responsible serving practices
Ability to upsell menu items naturally to increase sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
Team-oriented mindset with experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or supporting kitchen operations
