Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Lead to oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. As a vital member of our hospitality team, you will lead food preparation, manage kitchen staff, ensure food safety standards, and maintain high-quality service. Your energetic leadership will inspire your team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences while maintaining efficiency and profitability. Responsibilities

Supervise all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
Train and develop kitchen staff on food safety protocols, proper food handling techniques, and operational procedures to foster a high-performing team.
Coordinate shift management by assigning tasks, supervising team members, and ensuring smooth service flow during busy hours.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety management and sanitation standards.
Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for cost control and revenue growth while promoting a positive hospitality environment.

Skills

Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production within casual dining or fine dining settings.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams, supervising staff, and conducting interviews for new hires.
Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
Expertise in inventory control, budgeting, food safety management, and food handling procedures.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead training sessions, manage conflict resolution, and foster teamwork.
Background in restaurant management or food service management with experience overseeing shift operations and managing customer service standards.
Familiarity with catering, banquet service, bar operations, hotel or coffee shop environments is a plus.
