Full Job Description

Build Something From the Ground Up

RoofER is one of the fastest-growing roofing and exterior remodeling companies in the

Mid-Atlantic, specializing in residential roofing, siding, gutters, windows, and storm restoration.

Headquartered in Northern Virginia, we're expanding into the Pittsburgh market and are looking

for an experienced General Manager to help establish and grow our newest branch.

This is more than a management position; it's an opportunity to build a business. You'll play a

key role in launching a new market, building a team, developing operational systems, and

helping shape the future of one of the region's fastest-growing exterior contractors.

About the Role

As the General Manager, you'll partner directly with our Regional Sales Manager to launch,

grow, and lead RoofER's Pittsburgh branch.

Together, you'll serve as the leadership team responsible for building a successful regional

operation from the ground up. While the Regional Sales Manager focuses on recruiting, sales

growth, and business development, you'll oversee operations, customer experience, production

coordination, office administration, and the systems that keep the branch running efficiently.

You'll work directly with our executive leadership team to establish processes, develop

employees, maintain accountability, and deliver an exceptional experience for both customers

and team members.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving problems, building great

teams, and creating structure within a fast-growing organization.

Responsibilities

● Lead the day-to-day operations of RoofER's Pittsburgh branch

● Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to grow the branch and achieve company

goals

● Oversee office administration and daily operational activities

● Ensure an outstanding customer experience from contract signing through project

completion

● Coordinate communication between sales, production, accounting, and corporate

leadership

● Manage employee onboarding, HR administration, and personnel records

● Support recruiting efforts and help build a high-performing local team

● Handle accounts receivable and assist with collections when necessary

● Oversee project documentation, contracts, and customer files

● Coordinate local permitting, licensing, and municipal compliance

● Build relationships with township offices, inspectors, vendors, and suppliers

● Support production scheduling and ensure projects move efficiently from sale to

completion

● Monitor branch performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement new

processes

● Prepare reports and communicate branch performance to executive leadership

● Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and continuous

improvement

Qualifications

● Minimum of 3 years of management experience in the roofing, siding, exterior

remodeling, restoration, or construction industry

● Experience managing office operations, production coordination, or branch operations

● Strong understanding of residential roofing and exterior remodeling projects

● Experience with permitting, project coordination, insurance restoration, or customer

service is preferred

● Proven leadership experience managing employees and building successful teams

● Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

● Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

● Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM software, and business

technology

● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Training

Before opening the Pittsburgh branch, you'll complete comprehensive training at our

headquarters in Northern Virginia. During this time, you'll work alongside our executive

leadership and operations teams to learn our systems, processes, and company culture.

The company will pay all travel and lodging expenses for training.
