Full Job Description

Accounts Receivable/Office Administrative Assistant

B&A Doors, LLC is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated individual to join our office team.

This position will begin as part-time with the opportunity to progress into a full-time position based on performance, reliability, and company needs.

Pay: $14.00–$16.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

Assist with accounts receivable, including contacting customers by phone and email regarding outstanding balances and collections
Communicate professionally and confidently with customers and vendors
Assist with general office and administrative responsibilities
Enter and maintain accurate information in QuickBooks and other company systems
Maintain organized and accurate company records
Assist with day-to-day processes within a fast-paced service company
Recognize time-sensitive tasks and respond with an appropriate sense of urgency
Work closely with management and other office staff to keep daily operations running efficiently
Learn and follow established company procedures and methods
Assist with identifying and implementing ways to improve organization and office processes
Take on additional responsibilities as knowledge and experience progress

Qualifications

Previous office or administrative experience preferred
QuickBooks experience preferred
Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, including collection calls
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and recognize when something requires immediate attention
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and follow through on assigned work
Willingness to learn the company’s methods and understand the workflow of a service-based business
Willingness to contribute ideas and help improve organization and efficiency
Comfortable asking questions when clarification or additional training is needed
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
