Full Job Description

Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the organization - Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols - Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care - Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff - Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements, including HIPAA - Manage and maintain accurate medical records and documentation - Develop and manage budgets for nursing department - Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for the organization Skills: - Strong leadership and management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of nursing administration principles and practices - Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines - Experience in shift management and scheduling - Familiarity with electronic medical record systems - Understanding of acute care and nursing home environments Requirements: - Valid nursing license in the state of employment - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred) - Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing management or administration role As the Director of Nursing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing operations, including staffing, policy development, budgeting, and compliance. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of nursing administration principles.
