Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team! In this vital role, you will manage the accounts payable process with precision and efficiency, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced accounting professionals to contribute to a dynamic organization while maintaining flexibility. Your expertise in financial software, accounting principles, and compliance standards will help streamline our financial operations and support overall business success.

Responsibilities

Daily review/management of invoice transmission from shop management system to QuickBooks
Proper processing of daily batching from credit card machines
Weekly Accounts Payable review and processing
Maintaining good relationships with vendors, communicating regularly
Troubleshooting vendor AP issues and resolving in a timely manner
Reviewing and entering budgets into Quickbooks
Understanding and processing sales tax
Understanding Profit & Loss Statements
General Ledger Review
Balancing asset & liability accounts

Experience

Must be Proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise for Desktop
Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy (10 key typing proficiency) and attention to detail
Must display and demonstrate good communication skills.
