Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Medical Translator and become a vital bridge connecting healthcare providers, legal professionals, and patients through precise and culturally sensitive language services. In this role, you will leverage your multilingual skills to translate complex medical documents, legal terminology, and technical materials with accuracy and clarity. Your expertise will ensure that vital information is accessible across languages, fostering better understanding and improved outcomes in healthcare and legal contexts. Duties

Translate medical documents, legal texts, and technical materials from source language to target language with precision and cultural appropriateness
Proofread and edit translations to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client specifications
Interpret spoken communication during meetings, consultations, or legal proceedings to facilitate clear understanding among multilingual stakeholders
Transcribe audio recordings of medical or legal content accurately for documentation purposes
Utilize specialized knowledge of legal terminology and medical jargon to deliver high-quality translation services
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, legal teams, and project managers to clarify context and ensure accurate translation outcomes
Maintain organized records of translation projects, glossaries, and reference materials for ongoing quality assurance

Experience

Proven experience as a bilingual linguist with a focus on medical or legal translation services
Strong command of English and at least one additional language; fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable
Demonstrated proficiency in translation tools and software relevant to medical and legal fields
Knowledge of legal terminology, healthcare regulations, and technical translation standards
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively
Experience proofreading, editing, interpreting, transcription, or linguistics work related to medical or legal content
Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality
