The Director, Field Marketing localizes national programming to meet the needs of their local markets. This role serves as the area expert for the Champagne & Sparkling brands and acts as a liaison between Commercial Sales and Brand Teams. This role will work cross functionally to drive the strategy and priorities of the brands and commercial teams.

Office/Location: Based out of either Florida, or Texas, in market based on business needs

Compensation:

Florida: $ 134,000-$168,000/ annually + bonus

Texas: $143,000-$179,000/ annually + bonus

Job responsibilities

Positions Key Responsibilities

Rolls Out Brand Programming at the Regional Level & Creates Local Programming:

Localizes and adapts brand programming to market/account needs/distributors
Manages brand programming activities, analyzes ROI to inform future activations, and develops local activity recaps
Identifies opportunities for assigned brands that fit in the assigned area
Partners with Brand Teams and Market Sales teams to generate innovative, high-impact local programming ideas to meet market needs. Inclusive of brand activation, local account opportunities, community connections, local influencers, etc.
Manages A&P budget: identifies gaps/ opportunities/ risks, determines ROI of programs, makes recommendations to the state/market lead for alignment
Liaises between Brand Teams and Sales Teams with the goals of driving both sales and brand equity
Is viewed by Sales Teams as a strong partner that helps meet the sales goals for the year (with long term brand building in mind) and viewed as a strong partner by Brand teams in championing the brand and executing within guidelines

Business Development:

- Routinely analyzes depletion and sell through data to understand the business deeply.
- Identifies new account opportunities for the Commercial Sales Team to vet
- Has pulse on what is going on with competitors in the market and ideas on how to counter their behavior
- Leads the budget and brand planning process for their brands representing their respective areas

Local Market Management:

- Manages Distributors & Commercial Sales for Winemaker/Maison visits to ensure product availability
- Manages Local POSM in partnership with Account Leads
- Works in conjunction with the Market Directors on VAP and Rarities forecast/ allocation process in the local market- liaison between Brand Teams and Sales Team
- Prepares for and presents in distributor planning meetings & GSMs
- Serve as a connector to understand brand vision and localize it
  - Downstream: communication of plans, tools, etc. to commercial team
  - Upstream: communication of opportunities, risks, and market needs to brand team

Executional Excellence: Manage luxury execution in the market

- Guardian of the brand and market advocate for what is needed
- Elevating all stakeholders in the market; distributors, trade engagement, and Moët Hennessy

New Business and Recruitment

- Prospecting for new business opportunities through all channels (on/off/non-premise)
- Building relationships with key customers, local influencers, etc.
- Managing programs across subchannels (i.e., local 360 opportunities: Lunar New Year, LA Polo)

Represents the Brands in the Markets Across the Region
Travels to routinely to assist local market team with activation, training, program sell in and winemaker/ Maison visits.

Profile

This role requires frequent driving to support account visits, transport POSM, and meet essential business needs. Driving is an essential function of the position. A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required. Eligibility for a company vehicle is subject to a satisfactory driving record and completion of the Company’s approval process.

Ability to lift up to 20lbs.

Education :

Bachelor’s Degrees, or MBA Degree and/or years of equivalent experience.

Location: based in Texas or Florida

Professional Experience

10+ years trade marketing or creative marketing experience in wines and spirits, consumer packaged goods, or retail industries
Strong business/commercial strategy experience. Strong sales experience with strategic orientation or strong marketing experience with commercial orientation, field marketing, planning, communications and influencing skills.
Understanding and experience in working with luxury goods and events.

Capabilities

Strong commercial/analytical skills required
Deep knowledge of MHUSA portfolio, brand guidelines, & customer/consumer expectations
Highly refined organizational skills and experience managing a substantial number of projects and details
Ability to create meaningful partnerships with customers, distributor, and internal stakeholders
Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
Applies knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals; monitors business news and market changes for impact on the business or on own expertise area; uses this to shape decisions
