Full Job Description

Transdev is proud to offer:

Competitive compensation package of minimum $40.00– maximum $45.00 / Hour

This is a part-time position and is not eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities:

Provide quality assurance services at various transit vehicle manufacturers and maintain accurate inspection records of each vehicle.
Communicate progress of construction and inspection to client(s).
Ensure manufactured buses conform to client's technical specifications, industry standards, and manufacturer's quality standards.
Ensure each bus is built to the highest level of reliability and maintainability.
Represent client and client's best interest while on-site during the manufacturing process.
Ensure each bus is as free of defects as possible when delivered to client.
Provide, at a minimum, weekly written reports to Customer detailing inspection activities, status of bus production, photos, and additional documentation as appropriate.
Demonstrate and encourage a "Safety First" lifestyle.
Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
