Full Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in our Integrative Medical practice in an part time IV Infusion role. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients receiving infusion therapy. If you have a passion for patient care, possess the necessary skills, have an interest in functional/integrative medicine and are available to work 9:00-5:00 two days a week , we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Administer infusion therapy treatments to patients in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor patients during infusion therapy to ensure safety and comfort
- Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR) system, OptiMantra
- Maintain , order and organize stock in the IV room.

Skills:
- Proficient in basic life support (BLS) techniques
- Experience working with cancer patients
- Experience accessing ports and PICC lines
- Ability to perform laboratory blood draws as required
- Strong patient connection skills to support patient education and self-care away from clinic
- Proficient in medical record documentation and charting

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
- Minimum [2] years of experience as an RN, preferably in an infusion, Functional Medicine, or related setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
