Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Office Admin / Book Keeper to join our team part-time! This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your accounting expertise, organizational skills, and technical proficiency to support our organization’s growth and success. Duties

Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and summaries in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other applicable standards
Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and payroll laws
Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure data integrity
Maintain organized records of financial transactions, supporting documentation, and audit trails for internal review or external audits
Assist with budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and expense tracking to support organizational planning
Support administrative functions such as managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining spreadsheets for data tracking, and handling general office duties

Requirements

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles with a strong understanding of accounting concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and account reconciliation
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, or similar platforms; experience with financial software like Spreadsheets is essential
Strong technical skills in bank reconciliation, account analysis, general ledger management, and financial report writing
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of payroll processing procedures and tax compliance requirements
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
