Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic CPA Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will manage comprehensive bookkeeping functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will support our organization’s financial health by maintaining precise records, preparing reports, and streamlining accounting processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your CPA credentials and accounting experience in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and growth.

Duties

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations using leading financial software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and Quicken
Prepare and record journal entries with accuracy, ensuring proper debits and credits in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting to maintain financial integrity
Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll regulations, including tax filings and deductions
Perform account analysis and account reconciliation to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Generate detailed financial reports, including financial statements, budgets, and variance analyses for management review
Maintain organized records of all financial transactions following best practices in double-entry bookkeeping and accounting standards
Experienced in Sales, payroll, and income Tax

Requirements

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required with proven bookkeeping experience
Extensive knowledge of corporate accounting principles, non-profit accounting practices, and public accounting procedures
Proficiency in multiple accounting systems such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, and Quicken
Strong understanding of financial concepts including GAAP, journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet management
Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable management, and bank reconciliations
Skilled in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), financial report writing, and account analysis
Ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently for data entry tasks
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in financial data entry and analysis
