Full Job Description

Mountain West design studio is currently collecting resumes for all positions with experience in large scale residential properties and / or hospitality. Ideal candidates will have developed design and project management skills and will have strong visual and verbal communication skills. These are full-time positions and are excellent opportunities to further one’s career in Interior Design. You will be joining a creative design studio with excellent growth potential. Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

- at least 2 years of full time professional experience in the field of interior design and with a focus of high-end residential interior.

- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in design related discipline and / or a 2-year associates degree in Interior Design from accredited college / university.

- Knowledge and experience of the design process from client onboarding through to installation.

- Strong knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or both.

- Strong visual presentation skills and the ability to clearly communicate design intent through drawings, sketch renderings and material selections.

- Experience with custom made furniture and experience working with artisans on the fabrication of bespoke furnishings

- Ability to read and review shop drawings from various trades with the ability to comment with clear design direction.

- Must have the ability to use create thinking skills to solve problems that come up in the field.

- Excellent at FF&E selections and specification documentation.

- Valid driver’s license and the ability to work in the United States

- Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and be able to manage several high priority deadlines simultaneously.
