Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and driven Wildlife Removal Apprentice to join our team! This role is a part-time, entry level position that involves safely and humanely removing wildlife from residential and commercial properties, ensuring the safety of both the animals and our clients. In addition, we offer exclusion services, requiring light construction, ladder climbing up to 60 feet, and non-pesticide/nature friendly deterrent applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wildlife conservation and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Duties

Trap and remove various types of wildlife, including raccoons, squirrels, bats, and other animals.
Assess potential entry points for wildlife and recommend preventative measures to clients.
Maintain accurate records of services performed, including species removed and recommendations made.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding the removal process, safety measures, and follow-up care.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding wildlife removal and OSHA.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with best practices in wildlife management.

Skills

An empathetic and humane outlook towards wildlife and nature.
Excellent problem-solving skills to assess situations and determine the best course of action.
Ability to work closely with seasoned technicians, looking to them for industry knowledge and process guidance.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team.
Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, climbing, or working in various weather conditions.
Familiarity with residential exteriors, roofing, and wildlife is a plus.
A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
