Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing their expertise in a short term rehab setting. The Physical Therapist will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that promote optimal physical function, pain management, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical evaluations and reviews of medical histories, to identify treatment goals and develop individualized plans.
- Implement evidence-based physical therapy techniques, including trigger point therapy, to improve patient outcomes and enhance their quality of life.
- Utilize a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology knowledge to develop effective treatment plans and educate patients on self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including hospital medicine specialists, to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and support to empower individuals to take an active role in their rehabilitation and long-term health.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate records of patient care and outcomes.

Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current Physical Therapy license or certification in Florida.
- Strong clinical experience, preferably in a hospital or outpatient setting.
- Familiarity with pediatrics and experience working with children or adults with pediatric diagnoses.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment, prioritizing patient care and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Skills

- Short term rehab experience.
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy.
- Strong understanding of hospital medicine.
- In-depth knowledge of physiology and anatomy.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Experience working with pediatrics and patient care.
- Advanced anatomy knowledge.
