Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Seasonal Office Assistant to join our team during peak periods. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support daily office operations, enhance customer service experiences, and contribute to a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude to ensure the office runs efficiently and professionally throughout the season. This paid position is perfect for individuals looking to gain valuable administrative experience while supporting our team during busy times. This job is only for the season. We are looking to hire someone starting September 1st, and the season will go until around December 1st with the potential for extension.

Duties

Greet visitors and manage front desk responsibilities with professionalism and warmth
Perform data entry tasks with precision using Microsoft Office applications and other office software
Organize and maintain filing systems, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
Support office management activities, including calendar management and scheduling appointments
Handle clerical duties such as proofreading shipment documents.
Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries and assisting clients efficiently

Experience

Previous office experience or administrative support role preferred but not required
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel and computer literacy essential for success in this role
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are a plus
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly with integrity
Experience in data entry, filing, proofreading, and time management is highly valued
Personal assistant or office management experience will be considered an asset
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members during peak seasons
