Security Officer – Full-Time & Part-Time
Waterside Shops | Naples, Florida

Waterside Shops is Southwest Florida's premier luxury outdoor shopping destination, featuring world-class retailers, beautiful landscaping, and an exceptional guest experience. We are currently seeking dependable, customer-focused Security Officers to join our team.

Current Openings

Full-Time Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Part-Time Second Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Weekend availability is required.

Position Summary

This is not a traditional stationary security position. Our Security Officers are highly visible throughout the property and play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for our guests, tenants, and employees.

The ideal candidate is professional, approachable, observant, and enjoys interacting with people while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

Conduct foot patrols throughout the outdoor shopping center.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with directions, escorts, and general information.
Monitor the property for safety and security concerns.
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
Enforce center rules, policies, and parking regulations.
Complete incident reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Work closely with management, retailers, emergency responders, and local law enforcement when needed.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for everyone on property.

Physical Requirements

This position is primarily outdoors in all weather conditions, including Florida heat, humidity, and rain.
Requires walking and standing throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when necessary.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid Florida Driver License with a clean driving record (no restrictions or suspensions).
Previous security, hospitality, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
No criminal record
