Full Job Description

Role: Construction Project Engineer
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000
Location: Hooksett, NH
Duration: Permanent/ Direct Hire

Join a growing, self-performing construction team specializing in healthcare projects where you'll gain hands-on experience throughout every phase of construction—not just behind a desk.

As a Project Engineer, you'll work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to help deliver complex healthcare renovations and new construction projects. This role offers a mix of office and field responsibilities with excellent opportunities for career growth into Project Management.

What You'll Do

Support project planning, coordination, and day-to-day construction activities.
Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, and project documentation.
Assist with scheduling, material procurement, and project tracking.
Work alongside field teams to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project plans and healthcare standards.
Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and project closeout documentation.

What We're Looking For

1–5+ years of construction experience.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience will be considered).
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
Experience with Microsoft Office; Procore and Bluebeam are a plus.
* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
