Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our dynamic bakery team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods, expertly decorating cupcakes and cakes, with precision and creativity. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and pastry artistry will help deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our customers. Responsibilities

Prepare a wide range of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other confections, adhering strictly to recipes and quality standards
Decorate cakes and desserts with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal matches taste excellence
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, assembling, and portioning ingredients efficiently
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food safety protocols at all times
Assist in food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met throughout the production process
Support high-volume production needs by working quickly without compromising quality or safety standards

Requirements

Proven experience in food production, bakery, or pastry preparation within a fast-paced environment. Portfolios are welcomed.
Strong skills in cake decorating, baking, and general food preparation techniques
Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to hygiene regulations
Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using various culinary tools
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory
Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward teamwork and collaboration
Previous catering or restaurant experience is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining consistency in baked goods and pastries
Must be willing to work with the Owner's vision for the bakery
