Albuquerque, NM
Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week
Pay DOE (Based on Experience)

We are a growing sheet metal shop in Albuquerque looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator / CNC Operator to help lead and grow our duct fabrication operations.

This role is more than simply operating equipment — we are looking for someone who can help build and organize the ductwork side of the shop, assist with training team members, and help create an efficient production workflow as we continue to grow

We are a small company, and the right person will have the opportunity to take ownership of this area and help shape its future

Primary Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain CNC sheet metal cutting equipment
Load files, verify dimensions, and cut sheet metal accurately
Read and interpret shop drawings and ductwork layouts
Assist with duct fabrication and assembly as needed
Help organize workflow and production scheduling
Train and guide shop personnel on fabrication processes
Communicate with customers regarding ductwork orders and timelines
Help ensure orders are completed accurately and delivered on schedule
Support a smooth workflow between the office, production, and customers
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience operating CNC cutting equipment
Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and layout
Ability to read fabrication drawings and measurements accurately
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Comfortable helping train and support others in the shop

Preferred (Not Required):

HVAC duct fabrication experience
Experience in a production shop environment
Bilingual (English / Spanish)
