Full Job Description

Position Overview

2 year experienced Lead Accountant will endeavor to have the office work in a small office, team environment. Communication is the soul of our business. We are seeking a professional and experienced accountant to be our Lead Accountant. Someone who is organized, detail-oriented and motivated to give us work that is nothing less than 100% accurate. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and bookkeeping, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage the accounts for multiple entities using QuickBooks desktop.

Key Responsibilities

Tracking and presenting weekly cash flow activities and report for all entities using Excel
Experienced Lead Accountant is responsible for all accounting and general bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks and process AP and AR transactions
Manage and analyze accounts for accuracy and discrepancies
Perform bank reconciliations for accurate reporting to the team
Utilize Excel and Word for reporting and documentation
Support administrative projects
Communicate effectively through both written and verbal channels
Experienced Lead Accountant will be cross-trained and provide team support in other business tasks as needed
Management of all accounting activities
Communicate with team as to all accounting activities and account management

Qualifications

Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
2 year experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Prior legal or office administration experience a plus
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Experienced Lead Accountant has ability to work independently and collaboratively
