Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Electrical Services Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale electrical projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex electrical systems, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, construction management, and project coordination, with a passion for driving project success through effective leadership and technical expertise. Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and closing of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project delivery.
Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to verify compliance with electrical codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 standards.
Manage project schedules using software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project; ensure construction scheduling aligns with project milestones.
Oversee construction site activities including electrical blueprint reading, system design review, and installation supervision.
Conduct permits acquisition during the permitting phase involving local authorities; ensure all projects meet regulatory requirements.
Monitor project costs through detailed cost management practices utilizing HeavyBid or similar estimating tools; track expenses against budgets continuously.
Review construction drawings and schematics for accuracy; coordinate construction drawing revisions as needed.
Ensure all electrical systems are designed and implemented in compliance with electrical building codes and safety standards.
Lead team efforts in managing large-scale electrical projects by fostering collaboration, tracking progress, and resolving issues proactively.
Maintain thorough documentation of project progress, change orders, contracts, and compliance records throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects within the construction industry; strong background in electrical engineering or related field.
Proficiency with project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, ProCore or similar tools for document control and collaboration.
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems design, blueprints reading, schematics interpretation, and system integration.
Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70 compliance requirements, and local electrical building codes.
Experience in the permitting phase involving local authorities; ability to navigate complex permitting processes efficiently.
Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques including HeavyBid or equivalent tools for accurate cost forecasting.
Excellent project scheduling skills with experience using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software; ability to coordinate construction schedules effectively.
Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams on construction sites; excellent communication and time management abilities.
Knowledge of contract management principles including scope definition, change management, and contract negotiations.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics accurately; detail-oriented approach to quality assurance.
Construction site experience with a focus on electrical installation activities; commitment to safety protocols aligned with NFPA 70 standards.
