Full Job Description

Account Manager, Cruise Line Accounts (Miami)

We are an award-winning marketing and sales promotion agency, specializing in the hospitality industry (on-premise/cruise line food & beverage focus) with several US offices, currently searching for a Account Manager, based in Miami to work with existing Cruise Line clients.

This position is responsible for working directly with our preeminent cruise line clients on F&B (Food & Beverage) initiatives. You will be expected to understand our client’s strategic goals, and then utilize all of our available resources to execute solutions that will meet them (which may include ideation, design, custom production, technology, etc.) You will also work directly with the beverage supplier community, ship chandlers and other external resources to facilitate resources to serve our client’s needs. Annual budgets will need to be prioritized and balanced to achieve and maximize goals.

The position requires strong account & timeline management skills, creativity and F&B expertise. Candidate has the ability to effectively manage and complete all aspects of complex projects within budget parameters. Participate and lead brand/initiative meetings from inception through ideation to execution. You’ll work with our production team to manage production needs & estimates and our creative department for design & photography needs.

The position requires consistent communication with our clients as well as the team in CA. Position will be largely based in Miami with occasional international travel to visit ships. Travel to Southern California will occur at least once a quarter, with a longer visit on start-up.

Bachelors degree and minimum of 4 years advertising, sales promotion agency or cruise line beverage experience (or 8+ years experience if no degree)
Track record of managing multiple accounts/programs
F&B and/or Restaurant/Hotel/Cruise experience
Sound Financial Skills: experience managing a budget
Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills
Resourceful: Ability to get things done by leveraging a wide range of resources
Ability to prioritize and work unsupervised
Microsoft Office
On-premise beverage industry experience
Experience with Supplier Negotiations
Project Management system experience
